T-Shirt Design Contest
We, at Big Country, are always trying to come up with new ideas for merchandise. It’s not always easy to be innovative, refreshing, etc. You can’t please all of the people all of the time. As the saying goes: “One man’s meat is another man’s poison”. We have come up with an idea. We KNOW we have many very talented, inventive fans. With that in mind we would like submissions for a t-shirt design from you, the fans. The band and merchandise company will choose the best three submissions (in their opinion) and let the fanbase choose the “best one”.
The winning design will then be printed up with the designer’s signature on it. It will be an Official Big Country release. The winner will receive a t-shirt and also VIP hospitality to a show of their choice for two people. Please check out Big Country at www.Rockartistmanagement.com . Dates are being added all the time. Travel and accommodation are not included. Closing date for entries is 17th of February 2014.
As it is the 30th Anniversary of Steeltown and Wonderland, it could be themed or something completely new. The choice is yours!
Here are the technical details required for submission:
Please can you supply artwork in either:
i) Illustrator CS (or lower) .eps format, set up at print size and using Pantone coated colour refs,
ii) Tiff format at print size at 400dpi, or
iii) Photoshop CS (or lower) .psd layered file.
We can also use other image formats such as .jpg, provided they are supplied at a minimum of 300dpi (preferably 400dpi for best results) at print size (or larger).
Submit the finished product to contest@bigcountry.co.uk along with contact information. DO NOT post submissions on to Facebook, as Facebook will resize the submission into a file size that is not usable.
All submissions become property of Eiledon Ltd. who shall have the right to edit, adapt, print (as on apparel) and publish any or all of the design, and may use them in any media. Designs will be credited to the contestant. In the event that ownership of any design submitted is challenged in any manner by any person, that design may be disqualified and its use discontinued. Management reserves the right to alter contest rules should need arise.
