Derby show postponed
As many of you may be aware, Simon has been struggling with his voice over the last couple of weekends. This has been due to an infection and on his Doctor’s advice we have unfortunately had to cancel the gig in Derby this Wednesday.
The gig has already been re-scheduled for Thursday 14th February 2019
Ticketing information for the rescheduled gig will be announced tomorrow
We can only apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and will do something extra at the rescheduled gig to hopefully make this up to you.
Best wishes go out to Simon for a speedy recovery and thanks to everyone for your continued support.
UPDATE: The re-scheduled date for the show is Thursday 14th February 2019 and all current tickets are of course valid for the new date. If you require a refund they can be obtained from the place of purchase. All other shows are to be go on as scheduled.

BIG COUNTRY – A celebration of 4 decades of music-making
BIG COUNTRY – A celebration of 4 decades of music-making:
Two-part radio special in words and music.
Coming up on this Friday’s (5 October) rock show, a jumbo celebration of the music of Big Country. Two feature hour interviews in one evening, telling the band’s story over time, kicking off with an hour 5-6pm – with and then part 2 following 9.30-10.30pm
For part 1 at 5pm on Friday, we speak with drummer Mark Brzezicki about the band’s early days and chart successes, their appearance with Queen at Knebworth in 1986 – and Big Country’s eventual decision to reform some years after the tragic loss of Stuart Adamson. We also hear about Mark’s session projects over the decades with many other rock n roll greats – and his take on the changing face of the music industry.
In between these two specials, between 6-8pm it’s new bands and new music. We’ll be showcasing music from a heap of new albums out next Friday, including Sari Beth Schorr Idlewar Bad Touch The Brew and of course Those Damn Crows
