A memorial is held at Dunfermline’s Carnegie
Hall. Attended by family, close friends and fans. Richard Jobson (his
former Skids partner),
Tony Butler, Ian Grant, Barry Wright (of Regular Music), Jim Leishman
(former Dunfermline FC manager) a school mate, Tony Greco (on behalf
of fans) all speak. His children, Callum and Kirsten Adamson, Tony
Butler, Bruce Watson, Mark Brzezicki and Richard Jobson all perform.
May
A “Stuart Adamson Tribute Concert” at Barrowlands, Glasgow
takes place. Put together by Bruce Watson (music director) and Ian Grant (executive
producer) and Regular Music the concert lasts for 4.5 hours and consists of
Callum and Kirsten, Tony, Bruce and Mark of the band, Runrig, Dead Men Walking,
Brian James with The Vibrators, Simon Townshend, Josh Phillips, Steve Brzezicki,
Steve Rous, Damon Hill, Steve Harley, Midge Ure, Hugh Cornwell and giving his
first performance in years and one of Stuarts original heroes – Bill
Nelson. The concert will at some point be released on DVD.

Dutch fan Peter Hornberg organises a Big Country Fan convention in Zaandam,
a province of Amsterdam. Attended by 400 people, Tony, Bruce, Mark, Josh Phillips
and Mike Peters perform a brilliant set.
