Big Country’s ‘Hurt’ Video Competition

  • · 2013 · News

Big Country‘s new single ‘Hurt’ is a universally shared feeling, loss breaks all barriers of race, religion, or age. The band’s video for the single captures raw visuals that accompany the feeling that comes with their story of loss. ‘Hurt’, ultimately is about the strength we find in this life to carry on when the worst happens.

Now the band wants to see your story. Will you share it with us, with the world? Tell your story, who you lost, what you sacrificed; but ultimately the strength you have found in your life to carry on. It can be anything… A comment on our YouTube Channel or Facebook page of your story, a poem or even a video of yourself telling us your story.

The band will post every video submitted on their Youtube channel.

The band will personally choose a winner who will be announced on July 15th, 2013 (the 30th Anniversary of ‘The Crossing’). They will receive tickets, backstage passes, a premium merchandise package, and dinner with the band for you and a guest at a future Big Country concert of choice.

Please note the winner must provide their own travel and accommodation to the show / dinner.

To enter either post your story / comment / poem below the video for ‘Hurt’ on our YouTube channel or the Facebook post, or if you are submitting a video, upload your video to your Youtube Channel posting the link in a comment or send us the video file using Wetransfer.com to videos@cherryred.co.uk

The band will be sharing the significance each clip featured in the video for ‘Hurt’ has daily from Monday 8th April (album release day) midday to 7pm posting one fact every hour daily throughout the week of release for ‘The Journey’ on their Twitter page using the hashtag ‘#hurtfact’
